Don't fall in the trap of letting your distributors down. Product delays and shortages are easier to explain away when you're dealing directly with individuals. Vendors, however, will drop you like a hot lava rock if you cause them grief with their own customers.
Gearheads rarely make good businessmen, although there are exceptions. Teaming up with a good operational person often makes the difference. I have always enjoyed your commentary/rants/products and think you're an incredibly bright guy. But your business acumen needs work. Good luck to you.
